Our visit was on a bustling Saturday morning of a long weekend, around 9:30 AM. Despite the steady flow of patrons, we managed to snag one of the last available tables, indicating a popular spot. Their diverse menu offered tempting options, making it hard to choose as every dish presented looked appealing. I opted for "The Lion," their substantial big breakfast, while my wife enjoyed the delicious bacon French toast. We found the portion sizes to be perfectly generous, satisfying without being excessive, and appreciated the flexibility to customize our orders. Although there was a noticeable wait for our meals, it wasn't bothersome, and the food arrived perfectly fresh and hot. The coffees were absolutely top-notch, complemented by genuinely friendly and positive service throughout our visit. It was lovely to see many customers accompanied by their dogs, with water bowls readily available for the furry friends. We highly recommend this cafe for anyone seeking an excellent breakfast or brunch experience.

My rating has unfortunately seen a slight dip, dropping by one star. This establishment was, for a long time, undeniably our top pick for a French patisserie across the Sunshine Coast. However, since the original French owners sold, I've noticed that the Almond Croissants, Mille Feuille, and Danishes aren't quite as exceptional as they once were. There's a distinct change, particularly in the pastry's lightness, which is absolutely crucial for a perfect Mille Feuille. Despite this, I wouldn't want my specific observations to deter anyone, as the overall quality remains very good, and I still recommend their dishes.

My meal was truly delightful, and I found most of the service team to be exceptionally friendly. It’s wonderful that they welcome dogs, making it a great spot for pet owners. Although our table by the road had a bit of noise, the comfortable seating made it perfectly fine. However, I was quite taken aback when I overheard the person who served us making a sarcastic remark about my elderly mother’s indecision over sweets, which felt rather unprofessional. Aside from that particular moment, everything else about the visit was excellent.

My visit was absolutely perfect. The staff were wonderfully attentive and lovely, and I can honestly say the Mille Feuilles was the best I've tasted since my last trip to France. Seating was also available.

For our recent relaxed wedding celebration, we were absolutely delighted to collect three stunning cakes, incredibly, on the very day of the event! It was fantastic that they could also accommodate some very specific dietary needs. The team there was wonderful, and the cakes themselves were not only visually gorgeous but also tasted absolutely delicious. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We're so grateful and highly recommend them!

Though this review is a little late, the memories of Ma Boulange Cafe are still so vivid that we frequently recall our visits, even from back home in Melbourne. My husband and I had the pleasure of stopping by several times during our New Year's holiday in Coolum, and each experience was consistently wonderful. We were always met with such kind greetings from the team, with Bronty being particularly amazing and incredibly accommodating. The food was a true delight every time – so fresh, and their pastries and coffees were simply delicious. It's truly a place with very lovely staff and outstanding food, and I would absolutely make another trip just to visit again.
